Halfcut has landed

This halfcut was highlighted in my previous post and now it has landed in Malaysia, to be exact in Kepong under the shop myjdmworld.
You can google it or visit the link below for the location and contact number. One more time I am not associate to this shop and I just want to highlight what I found in the internet to fellow Isis owner.
Price is a bit steep for the item costing RM8k for front and RM2k for rear, but you can also nego the price.
If anyone buying this, I might need a few pieces here and there, so please share with me too.

Another nice video in Japanese

This time I found a retro commercial video in Japanese for Isis. Enjoy it. The girl and the family look happy in the video as what I want to be as in my family.

Funny advert for Isis (Japanese)

Above is 2 video that I found in Youtube the other day that show the advantages of Isis. Both the person dress funny and they action are typical Japanese style of presentation. I hope you have a good laugh too.
The red colour Isis shown in the advert are the latest model with some facelift to the front and end.

Isis Halfcut in Mudah

This month special at Old Klang Road are a 2.0 D4 Isis halfcut for sale. The condition are not that great but it does still give you some good parts to salvage from. For those looking for parts give this place a visit as you can view the halfcut directly.
I am interested in the front grill and the both the front headlamp. I think it is a projector type which is different from mine. Anyway, thos interested please visit the chopshop and let me know the price.

Another Isis Halfcut on Mudah

I spotted this advert on mudah today and the only thing that interest me is the front grill, I do love this design of front grill compare to the original (standard) version. However I dont think they will sell seperately the front grill from the rest of the halfcut plus the colour is not the same as mine.
For those looking for spare parts, this is a good place to be and their shop are located at Kepong area. Do keep in mind that this halfcut are a 2.0 platana model. 
Please do call them before going there as this halfcut might not reach yet.
Why do you think I know so much about this seller ? I had bought some parts from them before and they are decent seller.

Spotted a nice photo edit of Isis in the internet and would like to share out. Done by Julfikri Ahmad of Indonesia. Good job!
A very nice works and I think this design is possible to transfer to the actual car. Anyone interested to do this ?

The plus and minus point of Isis

I do love Toyota Isis, but as everything in this world there are always 2 side of the picture. I just wanna sum up some plus and minus point for Isis that I found out after having it for 2 years.

Plus :

• Roomy n spacious
• Sliding door for easy access and parking in tight spaces
• Power door!
• Front passenger side seat can be folded up for longer leg room for 2nd row
• 3rd row seat can be folded flat 
• Good driving position with a nice DIN placement on the center, perfect for DVD player for kids
• Most of the engine and transmission parts are similar to other Toyota model
• Running cost is not bad

Minus :-

• The gas/petrol cover not really align to the body works
• Lack of 2nd & 3rd row air cond, except in U-Selection which feature 3rd row air cond
• Difficult access to the 3rd room as the 2nd row seat is not user friendly
• Not much aftermarket parts
• JDM only model
• Bulky on the road, not sporty
• 1.8l model is underpower
